While I'm a long time baseball player, in the summer of 2005 I took up competitive golf. I say competitive with a small smirk on my face (insert smile here) as the league I'm part of is company sponsored. That being said, we've got pretty well organized contemporaries with above average golf skills. The table below shows where I fit in.

You can see that my wins/lose ratio is pretty good, which is more of an indication of my usual high handicap. Though my ending nine-hole handicap looks pretty low, it's actually a bit higher during the year. On average I'm about a eight or nine, then come playoffs it seems to go down a bit. Some would say that's sand bagging, but to be honest it's not. It's probably more of that fact I increase my concentration when playing for anything over a dollar. This past year I won $6.25.

Year Wins Losses Ties Win Percentage Ending Handicap
2007 6 2 0 75 % 7
2006 11 3 0 79 % 7
2005 7 3 0 70 % 6
